UOKiK Clears cyber_Folks Acquisition of 49.9% Stake in Shoper for PLN 547.5m

Poland’s competition authority UOKiK has approved cyber_Folks acquisition of a 49.9% stake in Shoper S.A. for PLN 547.5m, clearing the path for the strategic investment in Poland’s leading e-commerce platform.

Poland’s Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) has approved cyber_Folks’ acquisition of a 49.9% stake in Shoper S.A. for PLN 547.5m, clearing the regulatory hurdle for this strategic investment in Poland’s leading e-commerce platform.

The transaction values Shoper at PLN 39 per share, for a total of 14,039,145 shares. Shoper generated GMV of PLN 10.2bn in the first nine months of 2024. The acquisition will be debt-financed and represents a significant step in cyber_Folks’ strategy of building Europe’s largest e-commerce technology ecosystem.
